1:1 Sessions
Art Therapy in Aged Care and Disability
Art Therapy has long been an effective way to support people who struggle with limitations. It is a great way to express themselves and improve motor functioning. Finding comfort in creative pursuits frees up the ability to regain confidence and independence and enables expressive creativity. Delving into long forgotten memories, through art making can transform pain into happiness for the elderly and to give comfort to those with progressive or degenerative illnesses, grief and loss, depression, palliative care, behavioural issues. Taking their mind off the everyday and giving time for creative pursuits can enhance a person’s quality of life. A 1:1 session can be arranged privately within an aged care or residential home. Please request a consultation call for your enquiry.
Disability Art Therapy Sessions
If you need support with your NDIS goals, I can help personalise your art therapy journey by engaging a deeper connection to thoughts, emotions and communication through art processes and creation.
If you are Plan-Managed or Self-Managed, Art Therapy sessions can be arranged via zoom or face to face depending on location.
Your sessions will be personalised to your own needs, with a collaboration of meditation, expressive arts and holistic counselling if required. This approach focuses on the mind, body and spirit as a whole.
